  • The DoubleTree is nice and super close to the airport, about 5 mins or so. It's about 15 mins from the strip, Town Square shopping center is near by as well as the older outlets. Stayed here for 2 weeks for a business trip with a client down the street so it was super convenient. Starbucks is down a couple blocks. Don't forget they've got cookies!! The cookies are awesome and you can always grab some, but I'm sure you can't abuse that incentive. The only things I didn't like were that the TV was missing channels and the breakfast is not complimentary. For the amount you pay per night I think breakfast should be included. Then again maybe the per night I paid was higher than usual bc of March Madness ($129-$139 per night) and I booked maybe a few weeks/a month before hand. Those rates I got may also be a corporate rate. Also, take note that they charge tourism fees. Other than that the people are really nice and the beds are super comfy. HHonors members stay on the 5th and 6th floors and if you want a nice view of the strip, you'll want the rooms that end in the 30s on the higher floors. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it if you don't want to be on the strip.
