  • A sneeze broke the sugar jar! It all happened in slow motion. I had just finished using the sugar and was putting it back in its place. Then I sneezed...and somehow my hands lost their grip on the jar and it fell. I really thought it would just fall and be fine. But no. The jar and lid smash into several pieces, spewing sugar everywhere. As I looked down, I had 2 thoughts: - dang, that's a lot of sugar wasted! - dang, I'll have to go to K-Stuff Plus! I have a love-hate relationship with K-Stuff. I love the items I can get in there for a decent price. I hate that because things are affordable, I end up walking out of there with more than I needed, and don't end up saving one frigging penny. So on my lunch, I headed up to Bloor and ventured in. It probably doesn't take that long to choose a new sugar jar. However, the different options had me standing there for about 20 min. Finally a salesperson came over and helped me choose the right one. It was $4 so I was really excited about not having to spend too much. Then I started to think: shouldn't I buy 3 more to complete the set? I only broke one but I couldn't have the other remaining jars not matching! It would be very awkward at night when they come alive and the old jars pick on the remaning sugar jar for being different (If it can happen in a Disney movie, then I KNOW it's real). I was next in line at the cash and a line began to form behind me. The one cashier noticed and immediately called for back-up. In seconds, two cashiers showed up and I was out in a jiffy. I can't wait to get home and fill my jar with sugar! I apologize in advance to the remaining jars that were subsequently replaced due to this store.
