| - We had not been to Pittsburgh in over thirty years and heard it was worth revisiting. While we generally prefer Marriott properties, the quality service provided by the outstanding staff at the hotel made our visit even more memorable. From the person who checked us in, to the shuttle bus driver who provided round-trip transportation to local sites, to the cleaning staff who accommodated a special request, it was clear each and every guest was treated with respect, along with extra effort to accommodate particular needs, ensuring their stay was a positive experience.
Increasingly, relationships are key to distinguishing one hospitality property from another, and nowhere was that more evident during our stay than breakfast, where the positive energy and skilled support of "Eric" and "Earl" provided to all guests characterized each morning of our visit.
The Residence Inn/Pittsburg-North Shore is well-located, whether one is attending a sporting event or walking across the bridge for dinner; however, professionals like "Meg" (General Manager), Eric and Earl, as well as the other staff demonstrate a commitment to quality, personal service which exceeded our expectations.
Such a commitment to people is one of the primary reasons we will recommend the hotel to others, while looking forward to returning in the future.
