Dr Crovetti is disingenuous at best. He comes across as a nice and friendly person. I saw him for parts of 18 months. I first saw him for knee pain. He " treated " that for about 6 months and then said it wasn't my knee as the issue he was treating me for did not improve . He said the issue was with my hip. He treated that for about a year. He said I need a hip replacement as that was the genesis of all my problems. I had mentioned that I was experiencing back pain and discomfort. His reply was that was due to favoring my hip. He said I should reach out to his assistant to schedule the replacement surgery.
I ask a doctor acquaintance for a second opinion. He asked what I was experiencing and I explained what I was dealing with. He said the issue wasn't my hip it was my lower back. I was referred to another specialist to address my back. Since that has been address my hip and knee have been virtuously pain free. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE FANCY BILLBOARDS AND MAGAZINES ADVERTISEMENTS. I say got to another doctor. Dr Crovetti was going to do a NEEDLESS procedure to enhance his financial position. He did not have my best interest in mine only his. This has been truly disappointing as I though he was decent. I'm glad I had someone to turn to or I may have an unnecessary surgery.
