| - This is my favorite dog park here around me. It's probably the best one I've been to so far and my dog agrees. It doesn't have that much shade or trees, well Arizona, in general, doesn't have much at all. They do have some benches with shade, but only a couple.
You can bring your own chairs if you like or just walk around like I do with my dog. The dog park is separated into two areas, one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. I've never seen an issue on either side with violence or anything of that matter.
This dog park is clean, well lit, and quite large. There are no little structures for dogs to go through, basically it's just a plot of grassy land for the dogs to run around in. Plenty of trashcans with free poopie bags to pick up after your dog.
Overall, this dog park is great and I would totally recommend it. Besides the dog park, the park itself is quite large. It has a playground with splashpad, a large pond with fishes, and plenty of space to walk around in. Parking is plentiful, especially where the dog park is located.
It gets quite busy with patrons during the weekend. And if you'd like to rent out a space, you need to do that in advance as it does get filled up. Great park!
