| - I never had a reason to shop for camouflage until recently. I pass by this shop all the time and it seemed like the perfect military-themed costume party supply shop, so I decided to pop in for a look.
As I was walking in, one of the guys running the shop was on his way out with a smoke in hand. He came right back in with me, but I seemed to be interrupting his break so I tried to make my initial pass through the shop as quick as possible. The other guy working there watched my every move, always standing at the front of whatever aisle I walked down, so this also provided inspiration to make my visit a brief one.
They have quite a bit of gear. They sell mostly new merchandise and are obviously catering to a crowd who's shopping for something to use more than once. Paintballers, hunters, cops, soldiers, superheroes, villains... these folks would feel right at home in here. Nerds playing dress-up? Not so much. I don't have a need for a $500 bulletproof vest, but if I ever change careers and am suddenly in the market for one I'll know where to go. I did manage to find a hat and a few other small things, but towards the end of my visit one of the guys cracked a joke that "it can't be this complicated to find something for a party". Yes, trust me, when you're a tall skinny guy shopping for camouflage it can be complicated unless you want to look like a five-year old wearing his father's suit.
The two-star rating is reflective of the less-than-welcoming atmosphere ("don't touch the shirts", always being watched, odd comments) on one hand, but the fact that they have a good selection of new merchandise on the other hand.
