As the USPS continues its downhill spiral, this office just may get the award for the worst. They have only one kiosk, which makes it not very efficient. For over 15 minutes, I stood in line behind someone who clearly had never used the machine. Meanwhile, there are two employees roaming the lobby trying to 'help', but no help is available, at least for me. I have to either wait for someone to figure out the machine or wait in the line behind 8 other people. I only needed to weigh a letter to know how much postage to put on a first class envelope. Believe it or not, the only scale available was with the woman who couldn't figure out the kiosk. When this woman finally got to the payment process, it took her at least two minutes to find her payment card and guess what happened?t The machine timed out! She had to start all over again. The grumbling in the line finally brought over one of the lobby-roaming employees, who couldn't help any of the other 22 people in the lobby, to initiate the transaction again. I asked where I could simply weigh my envelopes and was told I had to wait in one of the two lines. US government services at their finest! I don't use the USPS unless I must due to the incompotence that is rampant through this organization. This N Jones outlet gets my prize for most incompetent and less customer-friendly.
