I must admit I almost passed up going here because of some of the reviews I read. I also gave that disclaimer to the front desk staff...HA. I wanted it to be known that I was on the fence about their spa.
However, I was not too disappointed. Since I was staying at The Venetian I decided to go with it. I originally wanted to just take advantage of the day pass ($51.50 with tax if you're a guest of the hotel), but later on ended up adding the "canyon ranch massage".
I came down in a hotel robe more so because I didn't want to get dressed. But as soon as you walk back to the spa, they supply you with flip flops and get you a locker that includes a robe. They also give you a brief tour.
The rooms were really clean. Towels, water, and snacks stayed full. But I also went on a Monday morning not sure if that made a difference.
On to my massage...(The reason for 4 stars instead of 5).
My therapist showed up about 10-15 mins late for my service, which wasn't a biggie. He was pretty good. Made sure to engage in convo and to make sure I was ok throughout my massage. However, my 50 mins I booked for was more like 30. I spoke to the manager about the time and he handled my issue gracefully and with urgency. We were both able to come to an agreeable resolution about the time.
Overall, I was really pleased with the 5 hours I spent there. I would definitely go again the next time I'm in Vegas and would recommend it to a friend.
My only suggestion would be to dim the lights more in the hot tub area. It was super bright which kind of took away from the relaxation in comparison to the other dark/dim rooms.
