  • 3.5 stars really. If I was a fan, I would still be with Blue Sky. I never had a problem with service, and the pesticide used seemed to control ear wigs, roaches, and other general pests. I cannot bring myself to use glue traps as the technician recommended I use in my garage near the door. They work amazingly for bugs, but when lizards (and mice if you have them) it's just terrible. I actually took time out of my day to pull a lizard off of those damn things. If it could talk and have opposable thumbs, it would have said, "Thanks bro!" and shake my hand. The glue traps would be a fantastic practical joke though; they make Gorilla Glue look like Elmer's. The reason I dropped Blue Sky was cost. I had a basic plan for $63 every other month, and I am the kind of guy who will do it myself. Blue Sky will get better coverage of your yard and house, but with the professional strength pesticide you can buy at Bug and Weed Mart, the total cost is 1/3 or lower if you only spray during half the year. For my yard, I haven't noticed that much of a difference when doing my own pest control. Time is money, so pick your poison (GET IT!?). If you do not want to do your own pest control, then Blue Sky is a good option.
