| - The first time we walked in, we were greeted with a crowded room of individuals socializing and standing around. Maybe one or two were actually browsing for product. That's whatever, neither of us mind. The tables were being used for a tournament, which would explain the crowd, and would have been entertaining to at least watch had we not been rushed out.
Prior to basically being asked to leave, I had a question about their Funko Pop! selection (considering that they have about fifty Agent Carters and some Star Wars - nothing else). We were told that they would be getting more variety in, which is great.
Cool, awesome. What kind and do you special order?
The gentleman (possibly the only polite one there) preceded to tell me that yes, they special order. They will buy what we request off of Amazon and re-sell the product to us. Off. Of. Amazon. So product worth $20 on Amazon (and basically anywhere else) would be sold to us for the retail price of $30.00 - $40.00. I'd rather just buy it on Amazon with Prime.
I asked the other employee at the register if they had anything for Wonder Woman from the New 52.
"I don't know," he says. Rather than trying to find out, he walks away from his register to customers which I would assume were his friends based upon their demeanor. I needed these comics for an essay in my comic books as literature class (awesome filler class, by the way). So I called them today, trying to find out if they had anything for Wonder Woman in. I checked every web page, their Yelp, their google rating - the only phone number is consistently busy. I cannot even reach them for a simple question, which beckoned this review. Kind of irksome.
I do not intend to return, despite how close they are. For Pops, I'll just head over to Wii Play Games which is just down the street on Rainbow and Sahara. For my Comics, any Maximum will do just fine.
