I've never actually bought anything at this farmers' market, in spite of walking through it a dozen times or so.
This is, in theory, an excellent thing, but why not more stands? Why not cheaper eats? It is all very ethical, but preciously so. And I'm not convinced that honey is that expensive to produce. You don't even have to *do* anything - THE BEES MAKE IT FOR YOU.
But mostly I am miffed by a muff who sells planters for like $300.
What the hell.
Are we talking about the same wooden 2x4s with mesh tacked into the bottom?
What is the mark-up for? "Hand beaten staples"?
Do not grift me, sly vegan.
