  • Sunwing is an awful airline with terrible customer service. We paid extra to have direct flights from Calgary to Cancun and they changed us to a connecting flight there AND back without apologizing or issuing a refund. They always said this was part of the terms and conditions when you book with them. I'd assume this is the same for all airlines but most will go out of their way to accommodate you if you have a concern or specifically paid for a direct flight. There are five of us traveling with them and all of us will never fly this airline again.
