The hype is real with this place. I've seen so many people post pictures of this place so I really had to try it out. We came on a Wednesday night and boy, was it busy. We tried squeezing in because it was cold and who decides to eat ice cream during the winter? I do. There was a wait (approx. 45 minutes?) and by the time we were at the front, the line was out the door. Seating is limited so either eat outside or enjoy it in your car.
The wait was sort of expected. There were three staff members at their stations doing their thing. It looks like a good arm workout, so props to them! It's so satisfying to watch them roll the ice cream and it's definitely an experience.
I ordered the green tea ice cream and was really excited for the pocky that it comes with. I stopped at 4 stars because they literally stuck one pocky stick in my ice cream (it looked so lonely...) But aside from the lonely pocky, the green tea was really good. It's probably ranked up there with the rest of the good green tea ice cream. I was a bit surprised, honestly.
If Rolled is so busy during the winter, think of how crazy it'll be once our 115 degree weather hits! I'm still stopping by, either way!
