| - I have tried going here several times. Recently, I was reminded why I left in the first place.
As with other reviews, I find the staff generally not friendly.
In particular, there is always one groomer (lady with dark brown hair, was instructing another groomer on how to cut) very abrasive and rude. We had gone several times last year but stopped because we didn't like the service. We decided to retry them again this year. At the most recent appointment, I was asking for clarification about price and what was done in the past (since other places we've gone to usually keep some notes or record about their clients). She said in a rude tone, like it was my problem "well, you were only here a few times last year then stopped coming. And since have only been back once." Well, I knew that. Apparently, they don't keep any notes. So I tried to then clarify cost and she replied well it's "$80 for everything". I asked well, "what's everything?" I thought this was a reasonable question. Apparently, she did not think it was.
This person was not my dog's groomer for the day which is the only reason I didn't just take my dog back and walk out.
I shouldn't be made to feel bad because I'm simply trying to get clarification on cost.
Needless to say, sorry Paw Spa - I like the concept of your boutique and the hair cut is usually good but this employee is very unpleasant to interact with. And unfortunately, we always seems to be there when we are dropping our dog off.
I have met the owner once. She seems like a reasonable pleasant person. It is a shame that she is losing customers (based on reviews it is not just me) to the rude behaviour of her staff.
