It's important to remember, even in the age of Internet commerce, that the personal touch means everything. When I arrived at this Hampton Inn, I was fortunate to have been greeted by Taylor, who was at the front desk and kind enough to upgrade me to a stunning room that MADE my very first visit and introduction to Pittsburgh. But what I really want to thank the team for is the sweet gift that awaited me when I got back to the room late last night. It was my birthday and my husband in California had arranged a local delivery that fell through. Taylor stepped in and (I feel like there may have been some female touches involved) had a surprise gift bag with birthday cards awaiting me.
