This review has mixed feelings behind it. I will try and be fair with what I say. First I will give credit where credit is due. When it comes to care of our pets, they have done good work. The part of their business that I am less than happy with has to do with their billing. We had one of our pets get sick due to a digestive problem. When I brought him in to be seen I explained our financial situation of having been unemployed and not being able to afford much for care. I was told that they understood our situation and they would put our bill on a promissory note, breaking up the payment. They did this and we were making the payments on time. During the course of this time our pet turned for the worse. They told me to bring him in and drop him off to have the vet look at him to see if anything could be done. Later I was contacted and told that it did not look like much could be done and that putting him to sleep was probably best. I agreed to that course of action.
Over a month later we received a bill for the final visit. It was not put under the promissory note as the other bills had been. When we explained the need to make payments on it we were told sorry, but the bill was due in full. It was more of a bill than we expected due to them doing a full blood lab on the finial visit. They had done 2 other labs in the weeks prior and I had not agreed to them running a third lab, but that did not seem to matter. We were shown no compassion to our situation and given a bill that in one payment was affordable.
My final thinking is that if you have to have any care done by this office be sure to know the cost expectations up front. While they do show a loving attitude of care for the pets, they lack compassion when it comes to a families financial needs. We did pay every payment on time and would not have agreed to the final lab if we had known our final bill would be demanded in full.
