| - Unfortunately, I tried this place out for the first time for my birthday yesterday and I'm sorry I did. Christian was our server around 7pm (4/15/18) and we were about the 4th table to be sat in there.
Christian wasn't the most enthused to be working or even to be talking to us. I've been a server before though and I understand that feeling sometimes. However, when you're working for tips... whatever.
We ordered the elote (corn) for appetizers and those were good, but I'd have to stay away from the "Ceviche" (shrimp cocktail). Me and my guests (2 others) took a shrimp each and just made a face to each other and decided we didn't want that.
My guests ordered a torta, chile relleno, and I ordered the "steak" tacos. The chile was just alright (hardly any flavor), the "steak" tacos were ground beef tacos that were so overcooked that it was more like crunchy oil crisps. (wish I would have taken a photo).
When the food runner dropped off our food it was JUST THAT. More like a "hi... here... bye." Didn't ask if we needed anything before we started our meal, and Christian didn't come back to check on us, refill our waters, or make sure we had everything we needed, so one of my guests didn't get her watered filled once, and had an empty cup for her whole meal.
This whole experience was such a joke, and I just kept trying to keep my mouth shut so not to make anyone uncomfortable. But once I noticed my friends water hadn't been filled the whole time, I had to speak up.
Upon letting Christian know that I wasn't a fan of the Ceviche and that we had it taken away, his response was "Well, I told you it wasn't like a traditional ceviche." I also let him know that the taco meat was overcooked and not steak like I had hoped but what seemed to be left at the bottom of the grease, and his face was as if I was wasting his time and insulting him personally. Christian said he couldn't take the ceviche off but he'd take the tacos off of the bill, because I literally looked at them after receiving them and put them at the edge of the table in hopes to order something else. So when he didn't come back except to end our "service" and give us a check, everyone else was done with their meals and I was PISSED OFF because the birthday girl didn't even get to eat dinner.
Upon my friend paying the bill, he came back to offer the change and said oh yeah, and I accidentally took the wrong thing off your bill (meaning to be the tacos) but they're like the same price" WOW LOL
I WILL NEVER be back here again AND I'll do everything in my power to make sure I tell all of my friends not to even try this joke of a place.
Christian, I don't know if you were having a bad day or if you just didn't care but I hope you find something more suitable for your personality to do for a living.
Food wise- This is NOT authentic anything. PS- you don't use Jasmine rice for Spanish rice. WTF?! Gross Gross Gross.

Please save yourself the time and definitely your money!!! BEWARE!!! Don't Come Here! What a laughable situation. Such a joke of a place.
