  • This is not a luxury theater by my standards. It's a regular theater with reclining seats. I am a huge fan of the true luxury theater, Cinepolis which has locations in Southern California. This theater cannot compare. What's worse is that Cinepolis prices are just three dollars more for a seat. So I feel like I'm over paying for this theater. The seats are close together just like a regular movie theater and as opposed to Cinepolis where each chair set has a buffer of nothing around it. Which separates you from the stranger next to you. At this theater you will still be pretty close to the person next to you. I go to movies alone so I don't like this because I have to share a arm rest with a stranger. There is no drink or food service to your seat. For $15.00 a ticket I feel like drink service might be nice. But nope. You can bring food or a glass of wine to your seat but THERE IS NOWHERE TO PUT YOUR FOOD OR WINE at your chair. Cineopolis had little tables attached to each chair. Not so here. Get ready to eat your food on your lap. Don't wear a nice shirt. Not sure the $15.00 ticket price is worth the upgrade of a reclining seat. I have a bad back and neck so it's worth it to me but even the chairs aren't as cushiony as Cinepolis. Your but still hurts by the end of an epic movie. They managed to purchase the least comfortable decliners on the planet. Holy moly the first few rows are WAY too close to the screen. The bathroom is nice. A glass of wine will set you back $11.00 and its serviced in a non-stem glass which I hate. The food looks to be typical movie theater food. Hot dog, pizza. Gross. Nothing special. Parking is a nightmare!!!! Leave it to scottsdale to have a movie theater with no parking. I can't imagine how anyone handicap gets to the theater. Park in the parking structure and fight for spaces with the rest of the mall patrons and then take the elevator two floors up. GPS will drive you in circles. It has no idea where this place is. Find Dicks sporting goods and park nearby.
