| - One more gem I found thanks to you my fellow Yelpers! I love Yelp, because you help me find great places that I never knew were there.
As for Mamma Mia's, I have mucho love for you too.
I was driving home along Indian School looking for Mamma Mia's, and I almost missed it. It is tiny and hidden in a not so sexy strip mall.
The first time I went there, I saw that they had a low carb pizza, and I decided to give it a try. I am not on any kind of low carb diet, although I should be, but that is a whole other story. The pizza was a personal 12 inch pizza, and had a thin crust. It sounded good to me and the low carb part just seemed like a bonus.
This pizza was the perfect size, and tasted great. The only negative was that my crust was a little limp in the middle. I am not a fan of limp things. I'm just saying. I am going to try the regular pizza next time, just to see which is better.
The second time I went there was today on my way home after Giuseppe's let me down. (see my previous review) I got the spaghetti with meat sauce and the garlic bread. The spaghetti was delicioso! Everything was right about it. This was definitely a great return to spaghetti for me since my last experience with spaghetti involved food poisoning from Pizza Express. The only negative was the garlic bread. It tasted like there was no garlic on it, and the bread was lame. I hope they upgrade their garlic bread.
The girl working there was the same both times, and she was personable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Great service! I am out of their delivery area unfortunately, so I will have to make do with stopping by to pick up the goods on my way home.
I will be back to Mamma Mia's soon!
