Went to Prime for a birthday dinner celebration; we were not disappointed!
Service
Excellent as would be expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Seated quickly with a reservation. Server was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth. Not at all stuffy. The server managed the dining experience while others performed the job of bringing the food and cleaning up. Water was always topped off. We were checked on at appropriate times but in a very unobtrusive way allowing time for conversation. Pace of the meal was excellent with just the right amount of time between courses to not feel rushed but also not feel like the wait was too long.
Ambiance
Very classy and upscale interior inside the Bellagio. Some dark woods and dark upholstery giving it .. a somewhat "heavier" feel inside than the competing SW Steakhouse at Wynn. Upscale without feeling overdone.
Food
Everything was really just superb. Unique cocktails from the bar were beautifully presented. The breadbasket... omg! The pretzel bread was out of this world. The Caesar salad was one of best I've had. And the steaks, of course, are the highlight of the meal. Perfectly cooked. Sides are ala carte - try the mushrooms and of course the classic mashed potatoes! The baked Alaska dessert was delicious with a passion fruit filling. Such a rare dessert to find in a restaurant. A plate of truffles was also provided since we were celebrating a birthday.
Mojo
Exceptional. Great service and great food. Slightly more traditional interior design than the competing SW Steakhouse at Wynn but otherwise both are similar in many respects. Upscale dining at comparable prices, but your money is well spent here for an exceptional meal.
