  • I have read some of these review with disbelief! My family has come to the Rampart buffet many times and every time their food was great! Last time we went was today, Sunday 10/13/2013 and had a great dinner! The prime rib was cooked perfectly. I cut off just a bite of mine and without saying anything, put it on my wife's plate as I do sometimes to get her to try something that I feel is extra special. She took the bite in and she stopped mid sentence to proclaim its' tenderness and flavor! I have never been able to shut my wife up before and actually begged me to go and get her a slice of her own! The Asian food on the bar was also out standing. The egg rolls were crunchy and very good. The peel and eat shrimp was only slightly harder to peel than at other places, but still delicious. The breaded cod had a very light coat of breading and other than the skewered okra, was the only thing I saw that was deep fried in the "American" section (obviously the fried wontons and egg rolls were the things deep fried in the Asian foods section). I did not sample anything in the Italian food area but everything all looked great. The deserts were all gourmet.
