  • I have a 2012 Honda Civic and had taken my car to Superstition Honda for its first oil change back in 2012 and I was so unhappy with their service that I started bringing it to Auto Nation Honda ( which is out of my way ,but the next closest) and I have never had any issues with them up until my last oil change , which was a month ago . The oil change had been done and I picked up my vehicle to head home and as I was driving to get onto the freeway I heard a loud scratching/dragging sound from under my car and immediately pulled over. I got out to see that the plastic black piece that covers my oil pan area ( a very large piece ) was hanging and dragging against the pavement , that was the sound I was hearing . It was obvious to me that the tech forgot to put screws on in places they should've been . I was understandably very upset, as my car was not drivable this way . This is not something that should happen when I take my car and leave it at a location for several hours with technicians who should be trained to double check their work and catch a obvious mistake of forgetting to put screws in . I called the service immediately and told them the issue and the front desk girl told me she would get with her manager and call me back as he was with a customer . I explained to her the seriousness and that I was literally sitting on the side of the freeway with an un-drivable vehicle . I got a call back from the manager about 20 minutes later and he did not seem to be concerned as to how this happened and made me explain the situation to him again and acted as if he had no clue why he was calling me . He asked me to drive the vehicle back to the service , after I already explained that I was not going to drive the vehicle and cause any other damage. I told him that he would need to either send someone out to me where I was at to fix It somehow or get me a shuttle back to service and put me in a rental so that I could be on my way , since I had appts I had to make . He then proceeded to tell me that he could maybe get a tow truck to come get my car and take it back to the service but that could take several hours and he couldn't promise anything . At this point I was very irritated and he said he would call me back and let me know what they were going to do . I then got a phone call back from another gentleman about 10 minutes later and he was a bit nicer and he explained that he would send a tech out to me to fix the problem so I could be on my way . The tech showed up about 15-20 minutes later and put the screws in . At this point I had been sitting on the side of the freeway for an hour or so . What really bugs me is that there was no follow up call to see if everything went okay or to apologize for the mistake . In my opinion that was horrible customer service . It made me feel as they were just like ...Oh whatever , no big deal . No concern at all for what happened . SO from now on I will most likely take my vehicle to a Honda service by my work in Glendale , AZ .
