  • Me a couple friends went by Scorpios last night and it was a pretty good time. I haven't been by there in years but the scene is pretty much the same as I remember and it's always at the very least a good time and especially if you are in to dancing. I've heard the different nights have a little different things to offer but we landed on a friday which was 10$ cover and all you can drink keg beer. I ended up having a couple of those and it's just keg beer in a glass so don't expect any premium stuff there. The liquor was reasonably priced and as always, be sure and tip the bartenders heavy on the first round and they'll take better care of you later on. Oh yah, the place is pretty much cash only so be sure and bring some $'s. They do have a ATM but you're getting into the service charge there if you need to grab cash that way. I'd add some more here but I have to say Jimmy D's review is very spot on. The dance floor is large and the music and lights are more than enough to get people going. The drag show they put on was decent but nothing outstanding.
