I have never been so disappointed about a mani/pedi in my life! I have seen this place in Old Town and I was thrilled when Dozy of Deal was offering a Mani, Pedi and glass of bubbly special. I had booked my appointment for Friday evening (5 pm). When I arrived everyone including the staff just stared at me. No one was there to greet me so I sat down and waited. The front desk girl or who I believe later to be the owner finally arrived and asked if I had an appointment. I said my appointment was at 5 but she informed me that it was at 5:30. Why would I should up at 5 for a 5:30 appointment. She then told me that they were running behind and if I could walk around Old Town to kill some time. After killing some time I arrive back at the salon and it looks a little less busy. They bring these huge bowls with warm water and flowers stones. but the tiny sofa was so uncomfortable. You also have to try to not notice that you are constantly being stared by people walking by on the sidewalk. There was no massage or foot scrub with the pedi. The mani was ok too but I could have done a better job myself. After my manicure I was left alone while the staff went to the back to close up for the day. No one had offered to put my shoes back on so I attempted to do it myself. I did mess up a nail and I was hoping that one of the staff would come back but they never did. I had to touch up my own nail! After what seemed like a lifetime the staff came out. I tipped them and left. The whole environment of the salon was frazzled and not relaxing. Personally I am glad I got this mani/pedi as a deal but sad that I will not want to revisit this location after my horrible experience!
