  • I would give them 5 stars because I have never, EVER had something bad from there. I manage the Baskin Robbins in the same center, and Mac's is our usual dinner to-go place that everyone can agree on. I wish there was a 4.5 stars, they don't really need to have a 4, but I have to give a 4 because for a "Tap" kind of place, their drinks can be pricey. I would love a large 22 oz option instead of just pints. The pricing of pints can be $4+, but it is specialty beers, not just Miller. I love that they carry Sunbru. Additionally, one time it seems my salad was made by a completely different restaurant! It was odd, just 3 croutons and extremely soaked in dressing... but I've probably had Mac's 50-60 times over the last 4-5 years, which is such a low disappointment rate. What I get: -BLTTA- Bacon, lettuce, tomato, turkey and avocado... how can you go wrong? I don't eat Mayo so I usually get ranch on it, it's to die for! Probably my most favorite, but I have been trying to cut back on calories so I opt for the salads. -Chicken Caesar Salad (it comes with a sourdough roll which is seriously bomb!) -Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap- one of my favorites -French Onion Soup- good amount of cheese, is always hot and tastes the same every time I get it -The cajun fries are super good but I have to get ranch because I am a wimp. -You can get steak or regular fries, and plain or cajun. All 4 options are good. You can also get fruit which is pretty fresh. Everyone loves the burgers, but I don't usually eat burgers. I did try one at the Christmas staff party we had there and it was good. Breakfast is not only good, but inexpensive. I get the egg, bacon and cheese croissant with fruit, and it's only about $6. It is a family style tap, so I don't think taking my friends there would be appropriate, which is a bummer because if it probably had a couple more HD TVs and bigger glasses, they would need to expand AGAIN! Overall: One of my favorite lunch time places, but would definitely go more if it was more of a drinking, not just eating type of place.
