I often get bored with my workouts. I need to try something new to keep me interested. I have been going to various fitness classes around the city that keep me interested for a little bit, then lose me once it becomes monotonous.
I decided to try Panthro Fitness after seeing an online deal- 10 semi private lessons for $125. I thought "wow! What a deal." I scheduled an appointment with Reggie and went in. I got the lay of the land, how things work, and even a nutrition guide. One thing I thought was odd was the large pile of shoes in the front lobby. They ask that you not wear your street shoes while training to avoid tracking in gross street crud into the gym. I can appreciate that... but also perhaps some cubbies in the front lobby would work well. Anyways, I digress.
I went to my first semi-private session with Rosie. She was great- just like someone with the name Rosie should be... cheerful, happy and encouraging. The semi-private lessons have about 4 people in the class. You partner up with another person and go through a series of pre/planned exercised. The trainer monitors and makes sure your form is good. She definitely kicked my butt, yet I am going back for more. I encourage anyone looking to switch up their fitness routine to check out this place.
