Ok so last week I went there and was told i needed my wisdom teeth extracted for 2,400$, then they they said I had 8 cavities for 1200$, then they said i needed a root canal for another 1,000$ or so; you do the math. I left shocked and pretty stressed out because I am low income, convienently the woman offered me a payment plan for all this work at a 30% interest rate, WOW. Something in my gut told me this was too unreal to be true, i brush 2times daily and floww 2 or more times a day. I have never had a cavity and my mouth is in absolutely no pian. I was trying to make arrangments to get a loan to pay for all my dental work when I came on yelp. I saw their ratings and read some of the people's stories on here, this made me do more research and find a good dentist to get a second opinion. So I went to Riverside Dental with my son today, our teeth are both in good health and it turns out i may have one filling hat needs to be repaired and thats it!!! I was super relieved but then greatly concerned about what would have happened if I had followed through toothworks suggestions. I felt obligated to come home and share my story, I also have all the estimates in writing and will be complaining formally to the dentist board. I find it very disturbing the whole situation and hope others trust their gut and always get a second opinion or do your research about a dentist before going through with any major work!
