I was a member here for over 7 months and have been a member of several gyms in the area throughout the years. First off, this gym is called "24 Hour Fitness" but they are not open 24 hours?!? The equipment is ok but there are way too many elliptical machines and not enough diversity in workout equipment. You will find that people are waiting for the 2-3 more popular machines. The pool and locker room area are are not as clean as they should be and I have been there at all hours on different days. I would probably rank the cleanliness at about a 2 out of 5. The staff is mostly courteous but management turned over at least 3 times during my time their. My biggest complaint is with their "bait & switch" method of membership which unfortunately is more and more common with gyms today.
Again, I worked with 3 different Sales managers to add on 4 additional members to my membership and they all told me the only cost involved would be $25 a month for each person I added. After a few month, I heard from other gym members, not even the staff or management that 24 Hour Fitness will start charging a $50 maintenance/cleaning fee per membership once a year. I tried working with management and their corporate office on several occasionsto try and save the memberships without paying additional fees and considering there were 4 additional memberships added on to my own, I figured they would be willing to waive these fees I was never even told about but they did not and i ended up cancelling all of the memberships including my own.
The best part of this gym for me was it's location since it was close for both myself and my family but location aside, this gym is mediocre at best and not worth what they want to charge. IF YOU ARE GOING TO CALL YOURSELF 24 HOUR FITNESS, AT LEAST BE OPEN 24 HOURS!!
