  • Did I just pay $299 (plus tax - $338!) for my wedding dress?? Yes, yes, I did! Every dress in this store is $299! I don't know much about wedding dress labels, but I did spot these - Alfred Sung, Mori Lee, Madison Collection, Jasmine Bridal. To be honest, I was too gleefully shifting through the racks upon racks of dresses to notice. It's a serious a workout finding my perfect dress in this large warehouse store! Your White Dress is located on Orfus Road, a street known for warehouses open to the public for many well-known brands (Nine West, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Sirens, etc). The store is easy to miss as the entrance is through the side of a large warehouse complex. As expected in a warehouse, the walls are exposed and grey, the floor is concrete; there is a front area with a few wedding dresses on mannequins... then.... racks upon racks upon racks of ready-to-wear designer wedding dresses!! The dresses here are all organized by size. Those who have worn a wedding dress before will know how incredibly heavy they are, so when I mentioned earlier about workouts, I literally mean that you'll need to be ready to work your arms out moving and carrying these dresses. Note that only 8 dresses are permitted to be tried on per visit, so choose wisely! You can't just put back dresses you've already tried on to exchange them for something different. If you like your dress, but are not sure, you can put a deposit of $50 to hold the wedding dress for 7 days. The change rooms are in the back and are very spacious. If you come during busy times however, there may be a bit of a wait for the rooms to free up. I've never had any issues though when I've come for myself and for others. The staff here are very helpful and incredibly gracious. They're just so nice and will make you feel very much at home, even in this concrete jungle. For alterations, they have a selection of recommended seamstresses that you can contact. It is fairly simple to get here by public transit, though it is a bit out of the way. From Yorkdale Station, take the 47B or 47C Lansdowne bus. For 47B, just get off at Orfus Road and walk a couple of stores down. For 47C, the bus practically stops in front of the store. It's a short ride either way, though the buses only come about every 15 minutes. There is plenty of free parking. The store also a selection of bridesmaid dresses and other female formal wear. This is absolutely a must-go-to stop for brides looking for their perfect wedding dress! Fabulous!!
