I'm so stoked to have found this nursery of amazing foliage but even more amazing family running it.
When I walked in the first time I was welcomed by pretty much the whole family and a 5th generation of the great FLW architect and wow I was impressed. Michael and Anne were so awesome to me. They spent time with me, educating me (which I need), and caring for me as a person not just a numbered customer.
It is kind of tucked away in this little complex just north of Shea on 32nd street. They put plants outside and usually have the doors open and when you walk in it smells so fresh and invigorating to my senses, I feel relaxed.
I found this awesome vase/large bowl type glass container potted perfectly for my office. It is contemporary looking yet very urban and nostalgic looking. It was the right size for my space.
They also have a variety of succulents, small cacti, house plants all the way to larger plants that can fit any space. If you read this review, you have to go in and see it for yourself and experience it. This isn't going to a box store, this is personalized and tailored service. Michael also said he can do design plans which might motivate me to step my foliage game up. They have educational classes with master gardeners, a huge chalkboard Wall with the correct planting times of all kinds of herbs, plants and veggies. Education is key and I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else than the Wright fam to help me make the right decisions in my future foliage purchases. Thank you so much I love my new plants.
