| - **Review is for the water aerobics class only**
Class is OK. Instructions are not always clear and I just end up doing my own thing. It's also not the most strenuous of moves, I would just rather do laps when on my own. However, I signed up with a friend and we are having fun, which seems to be more of the point with this particular class filled with mostly 45+ yr olds, definitely a low impact exercise. Plus, it was only $30 as a non member for like six classes, so not a huge expense.
The pool? Wow. It has not changed since like 1989 - probably the last time I was here as a kid. I really wish they would've updated it a bit. Maybe they did? I don't know, it looks old, although it was clean.
If you want to store items in locker, you have to bring your own lock. Also, locker room is small, very basic, and gets packed after class, so I just leave my stuff on bench in pool area and throw on maxi and go.
I most likely will not sign up for another class here although the staff/instructor are very nice. Also, the gym area looks very no frills. I guess I was spoiled with my fancy Chicago gyms, but it's the Y, so not sure what the heck I was expecting here.
