A gem. If you appreciate authentic Japanese food, this place is for you.
The fish was very fresh and melted in my mouth. Last time I experienced the same freshness was in Kamakura, Japan. The atmosphere is unpretentious - if you're looking for fine dining, look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for amazing food in a casual setting, Tokyo Kitchen delivers.
Many people seem to complain about the lack of washroom - first of all it's not true. There is one - and yes it's 30 second walk away outside the restaurant but who cares? I come here for the food, not for the washroom.
