I hate giving less than stellar ratings to an otherwise great doctor. Here is my opinion and my feelings. I did not have front staff issues like many reviewers. They were polite, it was my first appointment with Dr. Johnston, and yes, I ended up being taken late but was given a lot of time and seen fast. Dr. Johnston reminds me of an "old school" doctor who wants to know his patients and is very thorough and patient in listening to his patients and he seems knowledgable. My rating is because I am not sure I will return, I may request a new doctor on my insurance as it took me a long time to get an appointment, my life is really hectic and I do not have the time to be at a doctor's for so long. I will add that he and I "worked together" (I see this as a huge plus) to resolve an issue with a medication I have been prescribed that I do not want to be on. The problem is that he prescribed the wrong dose of the second medication and they did not accept the dual prescription, which was the means by which we were going to get me off the medication I did not want to be on anymore. He was otherwise really nice but I do not have time to go monthly or to stay for a couple of hours per visit.
