  • I just don't understand why my 3 year old son hates the kids club at this gym. He cries before we even go in and screams in the car when he sees this gym. I tried 3 times to get him in the kids club but he tries to jump over their gate. At first I thought maybe it's because there is not many kids there so one time I actually waited till a few kids showed up. It was still the same terrified upset crying sad face he would give me. He would rather sit in the lobby than go in there. The other kids club he just absolutely loves and would clap when he sees it and would not want to leave when we pick him up. But here at this location I would secretly watch him from the stairs and he would just stand at the gate the whole time waiting and wouldn't play. It's been 3 times I had to stop my workout cuz I didn't feel right leaving him there very unhappy. I now go to a different kids club and he loves going there. It sucks cuz this gym is really really nice. He's been to all the kids club in 24 fitness in Las Vegas but with this one in summerlin he screams as if he's entering a haunted house. The other ones he enjoys. I went to my home gym I won't say which location but they said wow u r back! I told them how he reacted with the other kids club and they told me a lot of parents had done the same and transferred their kids away from there to the one I go now. I totally see the difference. My original 24 fitness I go to on rainbow the kids club workers interact and show genuine love and even has pictures of so many kids they had cared for on the wall. But the one on summerlin seems cold and all they do is sit there and tell the kids to color as if to pass the time so they won't bug them. I've entered there before and u can just here a pin drop. Poor kids was watching tv with no volume on. How boring. I feel as if the kids club workers just treat this as a job and not something they love. To work with kids u have to love being around kids other wise don't do it.
