  • I love Dr Wilkes and his staff. As a first time high-risk mommy, it can get scary venturing into the unknown. But these guys held my hand every step of the way. Dr Wilkes' ante partum plans are super thorough. Tons of ultrasounds and specialized care. Lots of different extra options if you decide you want them (genetic testing, etc.) Dr Wilkes has a great bed side manner and sense of humor. I always felt comfortable seeing him and that all my questions were answered. He's a really busy guy, but he makes time for you. The nurses are wonderful as well. They truly care about your comfort and will do their very best to make sure you and baby are relaxed. Expect to endure some wait times. Be patient. I've waited up to 2 hours before. It's hard not to get frustrated with that, but when we're talking about care for itty bitty lives, it's forgiven.
