| - I will admit to being a coney dog aficionado. My parents were staying at Paris. I saw a Groupon and decided this would be a great thing to have for a snack/small meal if needed. Well, it was needed.
However, it was just mom and I and still had way too much food. Food was plentiful and fresh and large servings, so definitely for sharing and/or Groupon.
Ordered
Chili dog...larger than standard dog on a regular bun and messy chili. Had to fork it, but great snap, texture and the chili had a good consistency.
Mini corn dogs (knew we wouldn't eat two big dogs, but had extra dollars and I love corn dogs), however these were frozen and not hand dipped. Disappointed, but they were very tasty, hot and fresh and plenty. Also oddly, served w the cheese sauce which was actually good, but never have paired that w corn dog.
Fries. Hot and fresh. Large portion. Not my type of fry though. Prefer Nathan's hot dog fries much more.
Onion rings. Very good. Hot and fresh. Good portion.
Service was excellent. The owner or manager was working the register. Nice and helpful. Knew how to use the coupon right away. Oh, I think it was a living social or Travelzoo, not a Groupon. No clue.
When picking up tray, they forgot the cheese and the boy gave a double helping and the manager just smiled and said give it to us.
The seating was patio only and there were pigeons and a cooler January day. And I can see similar issue in hot summer, so not a fan of the outdoor eating only. But very "New Yorker" style hot dog walk up. I can see a repeat for a small bite on strip situation.
