i heard about this place on diners, drive-ins, and dives. it is definitely an interesting place. The wait staff is extremely friendly, really quick to get out the food. This restaurant is right near the airport, so depending on the time of day you go there, there may be a ton of traffic heading out of Charlotte.
I tried the 1/2 BBQ chicken dinner with fries and coleslaw. It was pretty good, nothing really special about the fried chicken at all. They must change the oil frequently, because there was no residue of past chicken fryings. They serve the chicken with BBQ sauce already on top. It is half decent, but nothing amazing.
Come here for the notoriety of being on the Food network and also the friendliness and quick staff.
