  • I consistently find this particular pharmacy to be one of the most frustrating places to go to. The drive through is really a "sit through", don't even try to get your scripts on the way home unless you've got a lot time and good AC. So I avoid the drive through at all cost. I also started getting my scripts filled at other locations such as the Lincoln and Sctd. location, much quicker. Here's what finished me off from going to this store again. Last night went in after 7:15 to get a script fill for my sick dog. It's been a long day, I'm tired and hungry. Not many people in the store at this point. Pharmacist takes the script and sets it up in the system and walks way and doesn't mention how long or that they'll page me when ready. I have not done a walk in script in probably 8 months. After wandering around the store and then waiting in front of the pharmacy to ask the guy where my script is. I go and sit down over by the wellness clinic as I'm tired. I sit for another few minutes and look up to see a monitor on the wall with scripts ready for pick up and low and behold there's my script listed. Imagine the great frustration I felt at that point to realize that all this time I could have been done and gone from this damn store 40 minutes ago! When I finally got the counter guy to help me, I asked him don't you notify over the pa system for scripts being ready. His reply "oh we stopped doing that a long time ago". Seriously Walgreens, is it too much to ask that you let the customer know about the notification change? I've been getting scripts filled for years but rarely inside the store. Your pharmacist might have shared that helpful information with me! My time is just as valuable as your pharmacy people. I won't be back, this incident really ticked me off.
