  • Im particuliar about the tweezing of my eyebrows. I made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed by the girl who comes highly recommended. She's got gorgeous thick eyebrows that look stunning on her. I however, brought a picture of neatly trimeed thin eyebrows ( a picture taken before my eyebrows were butchered a year ago by another place in Vancouver) and told her I wanted it like my picture. She kind of did her own thing and tried to make my eyebrows look like hers...I didn't want thick eyebrows and I think she did what she wanted without really listening to the client. Going back to when I entered the store, I walked through the back door and knew I was going to be 10 mins late and tried to call them from 10:05 right to getting to their door at 10:50. Phone was busy the entire time. I told them as soon as I walked in...blank faces looking at me. I called again from my phone and the phone rang...odd. So guess one of them left the phone off the hook?? Whatever it happens. There were like four girls working in this small shop and I went to appraoch one of the girls but I didnt know if she was a customer or worker...they should wear name tags...it's overwhelming with four ppl to a small store. Not truly impressed with the waxed eyebrows. I'll probably go one more time to make my final decision about the eyebrow services. She plucked slower than what Im used to so it hurt. I'll keep you posted.
