Went here with high expectations as Chef Ramsey demands high quality from the contestants in his shows. Unfortunately, the demands conveyed through his cooking shows do not appear to have been met at his restaurant.
My friends and I ordered the beef Wellington, and 3 different cuts of American Wagyu steaks. The beef Wellington comes cooked medium rare and we ordered the other 3 steaks medium rare too.
We were sorely disappointed. While the signature beef Wellington had really good flavor, the steaks did not. They were bland at best, relying too heavily on the sauce they came with for flavor. Moreover, they did not have the tenderness nor the marbling that would be expected.
Also, the temperature of the meats were inconsistent. Mine was too raw while my friend's was too cooked. I eventually had to return mine to get it cooked a bit more. And no, I did not get a new steak though I do not mind because I hate to see food go to waste.
The highlights of the meal was the bread they serve and the dessert that comes with the browned butter ice cream. I would go back just to get the ice cream.
My final verdict is that you are better off buying a prime steak from Costco and cooking it on your own rather than coming here and unloading your cash on a "meh" steak that I question whether it is actually Wagyu.
