Spoke to their manager Jason on multiple occasions and it doesn't seem like they have any intentions on making it right. He basically passes the responsibility on to his "boss" and says he's waiting for a response. It's been 3 weeks now and he has not gotten back to me as promised. When I called him, he brushes it off saying his boss is a very busy man. He basically uses it as a stall tactic in hopes you will just give up on it and go away.
I took the car to Safelite and they said they will never repair a glass out in the sun and that all repairs are done inside the bay. Even Jason said so himself the crack is caused by the heat along with the pressure during the repair. Since it was his idea to do the work out in the open where the sun is shining (even after I offered to pull the car into the bay) , it was basically his poor decision that caused the damage. So basically, the only choice I have now is to replace the whole windshield. I have also learned that all the newer Honda and Acuras have driver assistance sensor in front of the windshield and needs to be re-calibrated after you replace the glass and will now cost me $1300 to have it replaced by the dealership.
I would never do business with this company again. Jason runs this business in the most unethical manner. I would stay far away and use a more reputable company.
