Buyer beware!! We went to the dealership because we saw a car we were interested in on autotrader. We did not know anything about the dealership. The salesman sat us down and explained about the rebranded titles. He told us that the car we were interested in was in a minor accident and only three parts needed to be replaced, the front bumper, headlight and airbag. He told us that we were lucky that we found such minor damage and said that the insurance companies sometimes total a car because they know some owners will not be happy with the repairs and it's easier to pay out on the car than to keep having them
Bring it back to the shop. We were told we could take the car for a few hours to test drive it. We decided we would only lose time if we didn't buy it, so we took it on a test drive. The salesman made a comment that the last person to test drive it stunk so he put air fresheners in the car. Clue number 1. Then we went for a drive. When we stopped I inspected in the glove box and there was dirt everywhere, caked on. Clue number 2. We opened the hood and the engine cover was missing, there was no spare tire and the "new " front bumper was damaged. There were three of us on the initial test drive, my husband joined us to return the car. We were shocked to find that two of the backseat seatbelt locks were missing. Leaving the car that seats 5 with 3 working seat belts. We decided there was no way we were going to buy the car. We returned it. When we got home, we googled the VIN number and found that the car was flooded and not in a minor accident as the salesman told us. Please make sure you do a thorough inspection of the car and do your research if buying a car from Autosource.
