  • After I signed up for internet services, a Cox marketing rep calls and offers $10 for basic TV and one DVR - no other fees or installation charges. I said OK. When I saw my first bill, I found out he signed me up for one of the most expensive tv package and charged me for installation. I called billing to dispute and they fixed my package. The scary part is that they said that marketing people can offer free installation but they charge you anyways! Only the people who call in to dispute can get the installation fee waived. Such a scam!
