Budget hotel, budget rooms in a lower class neighborhood
I paid $40 per night, which is about the max that I would pay for this hotel. Room is clean but worn. Furnishings are budget but the bed is comfy; it might be too hard for some patrons. A stove, fridge and microwave and a tiny coffee maker in the site but no utensils. Fit and finish of the construction is poor; for instance, light comes in through the crack between the front door and the frame. WiFi is advertised but cannot be accessed from inside the room. To boot, cell and mobile days coverage is spotty (Verizon) and so internet access is tough.
For security, I recommend that you stay in one of the buildings which faces Boulder Hwy. They tried to give me a room at the back of the property which faces a field but I moved to another suite because the first one's front door had clearly been pry-barred in the past and was shottily repaired: I could open the door with my fingers by reaching into the space between the door and frame (yikes).
