| - I got a new puppy and for last few months, I've been maintaining her hygiene (brushing her teeth, bathing, cleaning, etc.) so I decided it was time for my little baby to be groomed professionally! After calling a bunch of different places and being so skeptical to take her to a groomers, a phone call to Desert Doggies Grooming made me feel like was the place for dog. The girl who answered the phone seemed so nice and informative which was a breath of fresh air after calling several groomers who seemed miserable to talk to anyone. There was an availability the very nice day so I took it! Fast forward to today and it was time to take my dog to the groomers. Upon arrival, the girl who checked me in was so nice (think it was the same girl from over the phone), she had me fill out a paper, got copies of my dogs vaccination records, and had the groomer come out to meet me. Julie, the groomer, was so personable and really made me feel like she was going to take good care of my baby. She went over everything I wanted to be done and confirmed everything back to me. Off my dog went as I nervously waited to pick her up! When I came back, my little dog was wearing the cutest bow and seemed so excited to see me. My biggest fear was that my dog would come back traumatized or something but it was the opposite! I could tell me dog was a little shakey (she's a chihuahua no surprise there) but nothing out of the normal. As soon she they handed her over she was right back to her normal self. She wasn't trying to run out the door, jump out of the groomers arms, or anything that would indicate she was hurt or anything while she was there. The groomer went over how everything went and was so so nice!! I can't say enough good things about this place and my new go to groomer Julie. I will absolutely be coming back and I'm so happy my dog looks and smells so clean!
