| - Marty's Market...where do I begin? You have a lot of awesome products - some great products that I can't even find anymore at Whole Foods or the East End Food Co-op, yet you have roughly 97% of the same products as both stores, and your prices are of so much higher than Whole Foods (comparable to the Co-op even with the "member" discount) so I only shop with you on very rare occasions to buy a few items on my way home from work when I don't feel like backtracking to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, I don't want to deal with the craziness of GE Market District Shadyside, and need something that I can't get at the GE close to home. I can buy 3 items at MM and spend $20 where I could get the same items at WF for less than $15 so when a store is more expensive than "whole paycheck" even if it's locally owned, it's hard for me to support it on a regular basis particularly when parking is even more of a nightmare than the WF parking lot. The cafe space is lovely but it's generally closed by the time I arrive so I've yet to enjoy it and you can't get me near the Strip on a weekend semi-agoraphobe that I am (note, I've been to New Orleans 25 times yet never for Mardi Gras because I can't handle crowds lol). Anyhow, I really, REALLY want to love you, but I can't because of the outrageous prices, but I will still support you on occasion for impulse or small grocery needs.
