Lake Mead is man made, and man just cannot make what nature creates. To put it another way, the water here is too dirty and too murky for my taste.
There are also too many dry patches around the Lake. Yeah, I know that we're still in the middle of the desert, but can we at least plant some Evergreens that can survive in this element?
Unfortunately, Lake Mead is enduring a drought, and its water level is less than half of its capacity. Without new supply of water, it would make Lake Mead in an even worse condition than it is now.
Lake Mead is located around 30 miles Southeast of Las Vegas, and you'll see many people pulling boats to this lake. Unless you have a boat, there's not really much else to do here.
