Here's a little context:
I used to go to the Maxi for my non perishables and the Farmer's Market for my produce. However, the farmer's market closed for the winter. It seemed impossible to find good produce at a decent price in CDN, but then my trusty yelp app came in handy and found this place for me.
Wow wow wow! It's so cheap! The veggies are always fresh and super cheap. (Big bag of spinach for 2,99$?!) they have produce that's already sorted out for you (ex. Melons that are halved and skinned). Their bakery breads were a little hard the times I went, so I've never bought some, but maybe I'm just uptight about bread, because a lot of people were buying it.
They have a small section of processed meat/cheese. Prices are acceptable.
The place is rather small, but they carry a lot of products. The staff is super friendly and checkout is always quick. It's also right by a bus stop and the metro!
The only thing I'd like is if there were a wider selection of veggies, but given the limited amount of space they have, I understand that they can't have everything. All the basics are there though.
If you live in the area and appreciate cheap/fresh produce, go go go!
