  • I lived here for 4 years. It started out great. Deb was the manager and she made sure the property remained a safe place to live, quiet and the grounds were well-kept. It's not in the best part of town, but I always felt safe. The best part of living here were the residents. There is also a large dog park, which was very convenient for dog owners. The things I didn't enjoy here were one of the maintenance men (quite unpleasant and threatening) and not having a washer/dryer hookup in the apartment. Things went downhill quite a bit when Deb left and David took her position in 2015. Luckily, he didn't stay for long. Things began to improve when Laura became manager. She was always very friendly and dealt with any complaints I had in a timely manner. I didn't have any issues with bugs here; just a few sewer roaches which is expected in AZ. The prices are also very affordable and they don't charge any unnecessary fees like valet trash or a technology package; W/S/T is included in rent. There is a pool and jacuzzi. Thank you to all the Emparrado staff (Deb, Rob, Laura & Amber) who made my stay there a memorable one!
