  • This Canadian Tire has the worst Auto Parts section I've ever been to and their customer service is horrible and inattentive at best. I came in here around June 2017 to get new Goodyear tires for my car when I came back they had instead put on their brand of moto master tires. I paid like $700 in total for installation and tires and I immediately came back and demanded they put in the proper tires as agreed which they did. I came back and picked up my car with my Goodyear tires, after driving the car for a day or so I immediately noticed it was making a strange thumping/knocking noise so I brought it back and told them to have a look, these morons said it was my heat shield and that they had removed it and still charged me like $120. I drove the car home and it still made that noise so I decided to take it to Midas instead and they quickly assessed it and told me the problem was that that tires were not bolted on properly and wobbled. Meaning they were loose and could have come off upon driving. I paid Midas the $60 for fixing the wheels. I decided not to go back and complain to Canadian tired because I am a busy person and I don't like complicating my life. Fast forward to November of 2017 I brought the car in because I got a flat tire and that was covered under warranty. They also did an assessment on my car I.e check oil, engine, brakes etc and my girlfriend had to point out that the report said my tires needed replacement, tires I had just bought like 5 months earlier with only 6,000 km added on them! The tires were worn down I took pictures and they agreed to replace them all under warranty and I had to pay again for a new warranty. Basically they sold me USED TIRES and did a shit lousy job installing them. If these morons had actually done their job properly the first time I would have avoided all this. To their credit corporate office did refund me $120 for the heat shield and the $60 midas bill. Still they are complete useless morons at this location and I will never bring my car here again or to any Canadian Tire location for that matter.
